This retreat will host Confirmation candidates from All Saints Parish in Syracuse and St. Mark’s in Utica.  Our St. Thomas More students wil help to direct small groups in activities and faith share their own witness story. The retreat includes snack, lunch and a closing liturgy – all meals are free to those SU students helping to facilitate.

Joining us from the Syracuse Diocescan offices will be Fr. Joseph Scardella, Director of Ministerial Formation & Liturgy and RCIA and Lisa Hall, Director of the Respect Life.  The Theology of the Body lecture is based on Pope John Paul II’s document on human sexuality and the church.  This document has been called “one of the boldest reconfigurations of Catholic theology in centuries”.  This lecture series will address some of the most fundamental and important questions of human existence.
